Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) section is a useful source in order to find answers to any of the questions that you may have about the service that we provide, whether it’s a question about your reservation or clarification of our insurance or payment methods – we have it covered. The below heading will guide you to the answers to your question:

 

Persons wanting to rent from Best Choice Car Rental (BCCR) must be 18 years age and older.

At time of pick up you will need driver license (and other form of picture ID if picture is not on license) and credit card. If payment is done by someone else, that person should be present as well to sign in agreement.

Providing your flight number, will allow us to keep track your arrival, and in the event, there is a delay with your flight, we can make the necessary arrangements for pick up accordingly.

Yes, you can make a reservation for someone else on our website.  Please note that the person would have to present his/her driver’s license available at pick up.  His/her credit card must be valid for payment and can be in your name (authorizing payment on their behalf) or their name.

Yes, they can, once they are a licensed driver and is listed on the reservation as a second driver.

This is permitted if you advise BCCR in advance, and it can be proven worthwhile.  If a driver is not listed on your car rental agreement and causes an accident your claim will be automatically denied.

Yes, you can; just call BCCR office and identify yourself accordingly.

Cancellation fees are based on the time frame of your cancellation.

You should contact BCCR and advise us accordingly.

Yes. persons should always fill the car back with the same amount of fuel as received when picking the car up.  If this is not done, there will be charged accordingly.

Yes, you should; the car should be returned as received.  All personal items, trash crumbs etc should be removed when returning the vehicle.  If renting the vehicle monthly, you are responsible to wash and keep the vehicle in a clean condition

Absolutely no smoking.  If it can be determined that smoking was done in the vehicle, a charge of $200 will be deducted from /off your credit card.  Also, no fresh fish is not allowed in the vehicle especially because of St. Maarten’s hot temperature; if done a charge will be applied as well.

In case of an accident, you must always contact BCCR (Tel: 1-721-XXX-XXXX) and alert us so we can take the necessary measures to assist you.

Coverages are based on rental agreement and are outlined therein.

This is dependent on the circumstances surrounding the injury(ies) and the occupants.

An assessment will be done, and charges will be applied based on assessment.

We accept payment by cash, credit and/or debit card, and PayPal.

Yes, you can, once you have authorization to do so and can prove this.

Yes you can, however, you will be the one responsible for the car and any damages and/or claims to the vehicle.  The name of the driver will also have to be on the registration form of the vehicle.
